Social Studies Exploration Day:

Friday, March 27th, 2009

This day will provide an opportunity for IU #13 district CFF coaches and social studies teachers to collaborate in the creation of engaging, technology-infused lessons for their specific subject areas. Teachers will come prepared to create two lessons (which will include plans, resources & assessments) with colleagues of the same subject areas from districts across the IU 13. They should be prepared to share resources, contribute ideas, and publish their final product to the global community.


Tentative Agenda:

  • 8:00 - 8:30: Registration & Coffee
  • 8:30 – 8:45: Overview of day
  • 8:45 - 11:15: Session One
  • 11:15 - 12:00: Collaborative Lunch
  • 12:00 - 2:30: Session Two
  • 2:30 - 3:00 Wrap up


$25 per person (covers continental breakfast, lunch, and materials.)


All sessions will be held at the IU 13 complex on New Holland Pike
